So you've just installed a Solar Hot Water system or solar panel... Now what?
Well, there's some good news...
Firstly, the Helping My Planet web site can provide you with lots of information and a chance to have your questions answered. We can also provide real assistance in applying for Government programmes.
Secondly, by installing a new renewable energy generating device the Australian Federal Government has two programmes to financially reward you:
- Renewable Energy Certificates - each Solar Hot Water unit or Small Generator Unit is entitled to a certain number of RECs that can then be sold or surrendered for a discount, plus. More information available here.
- Rebate Programme - each Solar Hot Water unit is entitled to a $1,000 rebate. More information is available here.
